Factory hinges are made from cast alloy and can easily fail under load—this upgraded hinge is CNC-machined from high-strength 7075-T6 billet aluminium and anodised black for durability and corrosion resistance. Supplied as a pre-assembled unit with a stainless steel centre bolt and two black stainless steel fitting bolts, this hinge provides superior strength and a perfect fit. Compatible with the deployable side ladder on all Land Rover Defender L663 models, it can be installed on either side of the ladder.
